Association of Scotland's Self Caterers

British Horse Society Approved Riding Establishment & Where to Train Centre

Our cottages are inspected annually and graded 3 - 4 crowns by VisitScotland (formerly Scottish Tourist Board)

We are members of the British Holiday Homes and Parks Association

Trekking

Every ride is graded as either suitable for novice or experienced riders. All rides for experienced riders provide the opportunity to walk, trot and canter. Our hill rides give magnificent views over Loch Ness and the Great Glen, whereas the Loch and Duck pond rides go through flat, open country, and woodlands. We make every effort to ensure that rides are classed according to ability. In mixed ability rides the ride will go and the lowest ability.

Please remember to bring warm clothing and sensible footwear for your rides, as it can be quite cold in the hills, even in summer.

Younger children may only have Lead Rides or lessons, with trekking from around age seven.

Time Table - We are closed on a monday for riding ( the horses get a day off ) !

Low season riding is by mutual arrangement. The proprietors reserve the right to change the time of rides if and when necessary.  Other lengths of rides can, of course, be organised, and booked around the basic framework, depending on the availability of mounts and staff, including full day picnic rides.
